Standard Moving Rates

Please see our rates below. With the standard rate, our team will arrive at the agreed time, load the truck or van, transport everything to the new location and offload. If you would like additional services such as packing and unpacking, please let us know in the details when you call or submit the booking form.

For all moves within HRM, there is an additional $45 gas fee. Outside HRM, the additional fuel fee will be charged per km.

*You may choose to add additional movers at an additional rate of $25 per mover, per hour.

We offer short-term and long-term storage in a heated facility. The pricing indicated is per month. Please let us know if you require storage for a shorter period to receive adjusted pricing.

*Each unit will be subject to a $25 admin fee.

This is not a self-storage facility. Access to the storage units is restricted to staff only.

Insured Drivers

Able movers is fully insured and licensed and our drivers are trained to operate large vehicles. You do not have to worry about navigating traffic with a fully pack truck. We take care of that.

We can all use the insights from an informed partner. If you have any questions or are unsure about how to go about packing fragile, or bulky oddly shaped items, navigating a building with no elevators, whatever it might be, we are happy to share ideas.

These three guys showed up way faster than I expected, moved my 2 bedroom apartment to my new house that's about as far... as I can get across town, did it all in a very professional manner...
